SUMMARY:Sign Language Learning Series - SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:We are super excited for the release of this event! Join us for a series of 3 sign language classes with Brent Redpath. From 6 to 6:30 we will be enjoying wine\, mingling and snacking on a few munchies. This will be followed with an hour sign language class from 6:30-7:30. You will be provided resources and apps after the class to continue your education! This is a free event\, however\, we do ask that you RSVP as we have limited seating.  RSVP HERE \n*Wine will be available for purchase\n*Please no children \nA little bit about Brent:\nBrent Redpath has been actively involved in higher education since 2010. He received his Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language Studies from Western Oregon University and his Masters of Education degree from Oregon State University under the Student Service Administration program. Brent is currently employed at WOU as the ASL Studies Division Advisor and an Instructor. Brent has a passion for sharing his story of facing challenges and overcoming them and sharing his pride in the Deaf community. As a hobby\, he is a licensed private pilot and an avid skier. He enjoys flying and skiing at Hoodoo or Mt. Bachelor during his leisure time with his wife and two kids. Lastly and most importantly\, Brent loves wine tasting and having a glass of Pinot Noir when he can!
